Pugmark Wildlife Rescue and Conservation Force relies on passionate volunteers like you to achieve our mission of protecting endangered species and preserving the Western Ghats ecosystem. We offer a variety of exciting opportunities for people with all skill sets and backgrounds to contribute. Here are some ways you can get involved:

Wildlife Rescue and Care:

Field Rescuer: Assist our trained professionals in rescuing animals in distress. (Requirements: Training provided, physical fitness necessary)

Animal Caretaker: Provide daily care for rescued animals at our facility, including feeding, cleaning enclosures, and enrichment activities. (Requirements: Gentle and patient demeanor, experience with animals a plus)

Veterinary Assistant: Support our veterinary team with tasks such as animal restraint, medication preparation, and recordkeeping. (Requirements: Veterinary experience preferred, strong interest in animal health)

Advocacy and Education:

Citizen Scientist: Assist with wildlife monitoring projects like data collection, camera trapping, and habitat surveys. (Requirements: Interest in wildlife biology, basic data analysis skills)

Social Media Champion: Promote Pugmark's mission and wildlife conservation awareness on social media platforms. (Requirements: Creativity, familiarity with social media platforms)

Education Outreach: Help develop educational materials or participate in community events to raise awareness about the importance of wildlife conservation. (Requirements: Excellent communication skills, passion for environmental education)

Additional Opportunities:

Wildlife Crime Reporting: Be our eyes and ears in your region. Report any suspected wildlife crimes to the authorities and notify Pugmark. Every bit of information helps!

Fundraising and Events: Assist with fundraising initiatives or volunteer at Pugmark-organized events to raise awareness and financial support. (Requirements: Strong organizational skills, teamwork spirit)

Founded in 2024, Pugmark Wildlife's rescue team is a dedicated group of volunteers based in Wayanad, Kerala.
